A free app which teaches children how to read by writing is being launched in the UAE.
Write Reader encourages youngsters, aged between three and 10, to write to help the process of learning to read.
First introduced in Denmark, the app is being used at 700 schools out of 1,600 schools in the country to teach the English language.
Asim Ikram, the CEO of Neo Robotics,in Dubai, spearheading the marketing campaign for the app, said: “The App philosophy is completely different from other ways to encourage kids to apply themselves.
“It also has phonics build in when you use the keyboard. There is also a mode to teach kids with sounds that help them to learn letters and words in a completely new way.
“There is also a speech to text mode that makes text writing fun.”
The app is available on the iPad and for both IOS and Android.
